Families are often taken for granted. It’s easy to do. But it’s also important to acknowledge and honour our spouses, children, and other family members and the special place they have in our lives. Unfortunately, not everyone has a happy family life. Some of us are alone. And for some of us, our families are fractured by abuse, neglect, and a lack of love. As Christians, we have a responsibility to nurture our own families. But we also have a responsibility to care for those who live alone and those burdened by an unhealthy family life.
